Forbearance is an attitude of trust in the meaningfulness of life. It means patience, inner strength, acceptance, and generosity — even under the most difficult conditions. The story of Father Christmas tells of the tireless act of doing good for the people of this earth.

We are courageous throughout our lives. To love requires courage. If you remain in your truth, you are in unity with the powers of heaven.

SELF-CONTROL

In situations that are beyond our control, we quietly appeal to our self-control. We consciously reflect on the meaning of our lives and on what is to be done and what is to be left undone. We accept the trials of life, remain confident and hopeful, trusting that everything will turn out well. We are patient with ourselves and ready to learn from every situation in life.

Forbearance is like a healing balm that strengthens our soul.

PATIENCE

Practising patience, especially in difficult times — this is what many find challenging. We can learn it by accepting what is not within our control.

When we apply and practise self-control, we calm the emotions that previously dominated us.

Patience means knowing that everything comes into your life at the right time. You do not need to reinvent the wheel of your life; everything is already there and reveals itself exactly when you need it. Rejoice in this knowing and enjoy your life.

LIFE’S TESTS

Every kind of life test, whether great or small, can make us aware of the strength we truly carry within.

As we become increasingly aware of this, we begin to recognise that everything is embedded in connections we could not perceive before in our inner restlessness. Forbearance therefore helps us to recognise and understand the meaning of our lives more and more.

JOY THROUGH FORBEARANCE

Especially in old age, it becomes evident how we have lived. If we have moved through everyday life stressed and unconsciously, we may not only have damaged our bodies, but also find ourselves unable to truly enjoy our own lives.

Forbearance — and recognising the courage within it to understand what life is truly about — leads us to the joy of simple being. We no longer take ourselves too seriously and recognise ourselves in others. It is this joy that gives us the feeling of connectedness.

Let us begin today to practise forbearance. In this way, the good days will outweigh the bad, and the difficult days will appear in a very different light. Instead of complaining about what we do not yet understand, we relinquish control and thank God for coming to understand, at the right time, what everything is truly about.

In my sessions, people become aware of what the script of their lives holds within it.

Thank you for your interest in my work,
