THE STRUGGLE FOR ENERGY

As human beings, we find ourselves competing with one another in order to obtain energy from others.
As long as we fail to draw energy from the inner connection between ourselves and our true source — the “True Self” — we will continue to fight for the energy of other people.

We attempt to seize this energy by setting Control Dramas in motion with others. We are convinced that we must receive attention, love, recognition and support — all of which are forms of energy — from other people.
Based on the interactions we experienced as children with our parents, we have developed more or less perfected strategies to direct energy towards ourselves.
NEGATIVE BEHAVIOURAL PATTERNS

The first step towards a conscious way of dealing with this behaviour is to become aware of our past patterns, our fears, the misinformation we carry, and our attempts at control that obstruct a free flow of energy.
Very early on — and largely unconsciously — we began adapting and adjusting ourselves to our environment.

The way our parents treated us — and how we felt in their presence — became the testing grounds for the behavioural patterns we adapted or developed in order to direct energy towards ourselves.
CLARIFYING THE PAST
It is important to return to the beginnings of our family life. Recognising these early stages means learning to understand our mechanisms of control.
Remember that most of our family members had themselves developed Control Dramas in order to draw energy from us as children.

This is precisely why we began to develop Control Dramas in the first place. It was our only way of regaining energy, and fundamentally, all our dramas are connected to our family members.
However, once we succeed in recognising the energetic dynamics within our own family, we can look beyond these control strategies and begin to see the underlying processes at work.
MANIPULATION

There are four main patterns that I would like to highlight and explain in greater detail in the upcoming blog posts. They are all closely interconnected.
Some people use more than one method to direct energy towards themselves; however, most of us have one predominant Control Drama that established itself in early childhood and is repeatedly enacted throughout our lives.

In the upcoming posts, you will come to understand the mechanisms at work.
In my sessions and seminars, people learn to recognise how, through their conditioned patterns, they draw energy from others when they are NOT connected to their True Self.

Thank you very much for your interest in my work.
Warm regards,
Marc Altmann
